I have been a Summer Student Trainee with the Air Force located at the Pentagon, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the General Services Administration (GSA), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
I also possess a basic government security clearance.
I have completed 79 total Credit hours while attending University of Maryland University College and the University of Baltimore.
I am currently enrolled in the Computer Simulation and Digital Entertainment Program at the University of Baltimore, which includes general computing courses (such as programming).
I am proficient with PC and MAC, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
I am an ambitious individual, and I enjoy being stimulated by new activities and tasks.
I am constantly seeking opportunities to challenge myself and learn new areas related to computer programming, as well as the computer field in general.
It is my feeling at this time that having an opportunity to work in the computer field will further enhance my proficiency and offer growth, as well as expose me to the professional work environment.
I've an eye for attention to detail, which was an asset in the Pharmacy Clerk position I once held at the NIH.
This attentiveness allowed me to detect expired drugs on the shelf and pull them from active inventory, which were originally missed when conducting inventory.
I feel my education and work experience have prepared me to be a competitive job applicant.
I have traveled to many locations near and abroad; I have enjoyed learning about other countries and their cultural and creative differences.
While traveling to Paris, Honolulu, and Toronto, I’ve grown intellectually, becoming culturally and historically aware of the wide range of people and lifestyles around the world.
I feel I have an extra layer of sensitivity to diversity as a result.
I currently play for a recreational Ice Hockey team, where I enjoy the teamwork dynamic we share, as well as the fun we have just playing the game.
